Panic! at the Disco is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, originally consisting of Spencer Smith, Ryan Ross, Brendon Urie, Jon Walker and Brent Wilson. The band were discovered in 2004 by DCD2 record executive Pete Wentz, who heard the band's music after Ross sent Wentz a few of their demos through the social media platform LiveJournal.
On January 24, 2023, Urie announced that the UK leg of the Viva Las Vengeance Tour would consist of their last performances, as Panic! at the Disco would disband following the tour's last show on March 10, 2023, in Manchester, United Kingdom.
On October 29, 2024, it was announced that Panic! at the Disco would reunite to headline the When We Were Young festival on October 18, 2025, performing the entirety of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out to celebrate the album's 20th anniversary. It saw the return of Brendon Urie, Mike Naran, Nicole Row and Dan Pawlovich, as well as original drummer Spencer Smith, who briefly performed on stage to conclude the show.
